  • the downside of the story (in europe) is that if a company has to chose between two qualified applicants they would rather chose the male one, because there is always a risk of the female one to get pregnant and then they would have to substitute her for 3 years. Also after 3 years of absence it is hard to come back. these women tend not to advace in theirs careers. Thats why for example in france the women are likely to get to work after few weeks.
