ima invent a religion about a giant chicken. its as easy as that all you need are good ideology's on wich you base the religion. it doesn't matter what you take as the face or reprensentive for your god. you need the ideas that people agree with and that people think are good. and since there are alot of diffrent people with diffrent views thats why you get diffrent religions.

Both may be based on blind faith, but it that does not make both equally valid. Occam's Razor instructs that from among competing hypotheses that the one that is most simple and makes the fewest new assumptions is the most plausible until evidence arises to suggest otherwise. So you tell me, does assuming there to exist a creator with a presence on Earth, that has also laid out a plan for eternity, seem to introduce more of less new assumptions than the opposing argument?

We have made many many scientific discoveries, and "creationists" are quick to jump on the bandwagon to explain that, even though we believed we as humans lived in the center of the universe, on a disc of earth it was by creation of god. But when we find out that the earth is round, the sky is not a dome, we don't even live in the center of our own galaxy and that the earth is more than 6,000 years old with fossil evidence to prove it, oh yeah, "god" did all that too.

Why doesn't god heal amputees? Why does god let millions of his innocent children starve every year, while pastors Paul and Jan Crouch sit on THRONES of GOLD asking for money to build mega-churches? Why are we told and taught that we are made in god's image, but are born into the world as a serv to religion? If Jesus died for our sins, why can I still go to hell? In the case of morality, if Moses led his people out of the desert of Egypt, were they immoral before the 10 commandments?

You're all idiots. You can't prove a negative, and you can't prove God. This guy is right when he says all both sides have is blind faith. Athiests are hypocrites. I am not religious, but I'm not an athiest. Honestly every athiest I've ever met is obnoxious because all they seem to want to do is make you believe what they do. I've met some obnoxious Catholics who tell me I'm going to hell bc I was never baptized. They're all idiots. Stop arguing, until there is proof either way no one wins.
