LG TV flashing/blinking screen problem

Hello,
this is a 52LG70-UA MODEL Has a screen flashing blinking problem. I think its a main input board. Looked at all the compacitors and diods and never seen any pointed tops. It is almost like it is using the intellsensor to adjust the screen. It works great with no problems when you use a USB Jump drive just viewing pictures but when you are using any other input cable compon RCA HDMI Cable still flashes or blinks. I will change the main input board once i get on on ebay and match numbers. I will keep you posted on the repair. These videos come in handy when trying to make an easy fix. There are only about 5 main parts in these tv's They all have certain jobs to do so It should'nt be that hard to pinpoint the problem. I had one LCD tv screen black but had sound screen jet black was TCON Board fixed for about 20.00 part on ebay. Any help is greatly appreciated.

if it is flashing like this then it is the main input output board thats what fixed this issue or try plugging in a usb jump drive with pictures on it if it doesnt blink and corrects the issue the input is bad i hooked a dvd player and cable and still had issue once i used a usb jump drive it cleared right up most likely just bad input out put board hope this helps if the screen is completely black no flashing with sound is t-conn board

If i was guessing without seeing video and it really is powering off then back on it is your power board but when searching for one on ebay make sure you use the numbers from your board and look to make sure it is the right one before buying.. It should be part number EAY4175270 double check model of tv too.

Not sure if it is powering on and then back off again with no other symptoms it's the power board. Did it start doing this after a big storm.

There is a T-Conn board in the very top little board that controls light for both inverter boards. Inverter boards are the boards on each side of the tv. those project the light to the tv. If your T-Conn board was bad you would have sound but no picture. Way to test that part is to disconnect the harnesses going to T-Conn board then turn tv on. If you can see the screen light up with sound but still no picture it means the T-Conn board is bad.

The problem with this one was the tv come on fine and would stay on. It would just blink or fade in and out. How i knew it was the main input output board was i could plug in a jump drive in the back and then the tv would quit blinking just putting out a bad signal. Then there is the power board... If the tv is no staying on and it is just turning on and then back off again it is probably just the main power supply may even see a few raised caps on compacitors

Update for video, Changed main input/output board to correct this issue. NO problem bought one on ebay $79.00 easy fix... tv picture is very clear. no flashing issue. hope this helps a tv shop would have charged about 650.00 and part would have been about 450.00 for about 30 minutes of easy work..... any one could do this just mae sure it is unplugged take back off remove wireing harness and screws and install new board......

Have the same tv except 42 inch version and the same problem, turned off energy saver and it fix the problem perfectly.

dude i have the same prob with a 47" philips lcdtv but mine looks like its darker flashing and my sound still works did u find a solution cuz i really need help

I have the same t.v. But it turns on then it turns off and right now is turning off and on it just blinks with no picture..... Is it the same problem?
