I got an idea for cutting the deficit! Cut Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security!!! Oh wait, Republicans have a double standard when it comes to Medicare and Social Security. They just want to cut spending on the programs THEY DONT USE.

Well, if you cut an established entitlement program, it has to be replaced by something else. A lot of proposals have been made to reform Social Security and Medicare, but Democrats and AARP reject them. They never come to a vote. As for Republicans who vote with Democrats, they should be voted out on election day.

Correct. And Medicare was not a part of the original Social Security program. It wasn't added until the 1960s, mainly at the behest of the socialist Senator Ted Kennedy, who got away with murder when he killed his girl friend.

Why don't Republicans ever want to cut Medicare Spending even though Medicare IS a government handout? Medicare is socialistic.

That's a silly argument because medicare makes us YOUTHFUL people (who work) pay for the healthcare of OLD people who NO LONGER WORK. Old people should already know how to take care of themselves. Medicare takes advantage of young hard-working workers, and gives to nonworking RETIRED people. Practice what you preach! This is the same concept as welfare for the lazy poor!
