that cockney voice for george emerson is hideous hideous,i dont care if it is accurate lucy honeychurch would not have swooned for it and im sure forster would cringe at it were he alive.

Its very difficult to like the idea with this because i've read the book so many times and i love the 1985 movie! However i am open to this new 'take' and tbh ITV luuuuuuuuuuuurve doing the raunchy thing...!!!

I will have to check it out. I have been in love with EC since Fingersmith. I couldn't stand to watch the show Harper's Island, even though she is hot in that, too.

He's not a bad writer by any means, he's just not afraid to go a little raunchy ... Tipping the Velvet is a classic example ;)
