After his appearance at the Make Poverty History concert in Melbourne, Bono was interviewed on Australian Channel 2's Late night news and current affairs program, Lateline. The interview went for 15 minutes and concentrated on issues related to Make Poverty history.

Due to youtube size restrictions, I've split the interview into 2 parts. This is the second half. Enjoy! Part one is here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1NSyEb9VGs

If you agree with waht Bono has to say, and want to help make a difference go here: http://www.makepovertyhistory.com.au/home.html

  • wow, how does this man keep his cool ??? incredibly well controlled response. he seemed to even win over the hard-case interviewer. did bono meet the PM after this interview ? if so, how'd it go ?

  • Bono was amazing keeping his cool through this :)

No - he never met the Prime Minister who was a jerk anyway. We now have a different Prime Minister thank goodness :)

  • Bono is cool !!!! I Love bono

  • i know so many people who simply dismiss bono out of cynicism or some misguided punk rock ethos. whatever. his legacy will speak for itself. and, as he points out, its not about him ... its about hungry people and rich nations and closing that gap. this message is real christianity, and so needed in these times
