I decided to try the Dr Max Powers Burn after reading a large amount of positive reviews on the websites.
I'm a little over 5 feet tall (pretty short) and I'm also top heavy (big boobs). I just really want to shed 10lbs or more. I'm in the area of 137 and would love to see myself around the low 120s. At my heaviest I've been 152 and at my smallest I've been 131 all within the past 2 years.

my family is always making eachother very aware when we not only lose weight but if we gain weight.. i gained some weight and my mom/bro/dad will like come and pinch my body!! and then theyll do the same if ive lost weight. so when other people say that to me, non family, i'm just like "yes, this is true" because I dont like to perpetuate the mentality that losing weight = always good/beautiful/compliment, and gaining weight =ugly/negative thing, im just like "yup :) "

So far I've lost 25 pounds and I've gotten a great response from my family especially the family that lives out of town and haven't seen me on a daily basis. I think that it is harder for co-workers to mention the difference because they don't no how to approach it. I also find that it depends largely on the personality of the person, some people just come right out and say what's on their minds. I enjoy knowing that people can see the difference but in the i don't depend on the validation. (=

I know exactly what you mean. I am dealing with the same issues with family members and co-workers. I didn't know how to take it ... sensativity issue, jealousy or shock? Just a handful of people have given me compliments and the people that I least expected compliments from are the ones who gave it. I think it might have to do with not being able to deal with CHANGE? It's perplexing ... wish I had a direct answer for you. But this WON'T change our goals, right!!
i know, i went from 212 to 181 so thats 30 lbs, and people at the gym have been complimenting me like crazy. and i was shocked because i gained those 30 lbs in like 4 months and i was like, has anyone been noticing how big im getting? lol i guess they did.

@danie142009 Congrats on your success. That must feel amazing.
I can't wait to get to 181-180 lbs. Keep up the good work.

If you don't feel you need validation from other people, then why have you posted your weight loss on youtube? If you feel you need to lose weight, it should be for your own self-esteem, not to gain approval or compliments from others. People don't generally compliment slim people on their size, so why compliment someone who is slimming? Commenting on someone's weight is very personal. If someone had an eating disorder and that's how they were losing weight, a compliment might encourage it more.

@oclandestin - i posted my weight loss on youtube for support, not for validation.
try to learn when two things are mutually exclusive. do you even know what that means??? your logic and analogies are so imperfect that responding to them directly would be a joke for me.
take your stupidity elsewhere.

Like you say i dont need validation but its nice when somebody compliments you, i tend to get them mostly from women, men are shy with it or will say something about my hair or dressm, one even said men like big women... What ive also had is some friends will ask how i do it what pills Alli? As soon as i mention lifestyle change of diet and exercise they dont want to know or think im lying

@DollyMat - Hey Girl! Thanks for subbing and checking out my vids. Yes, people don't want to hear about the hard work. They see you and all of a sudden you're thinner and they want that too, but they don't want the "inconvenience" that comes with slimming down. They want an easy answer, some do.
Keep up the good work, though!
