We had a nest on our front porch light 1/07 and our little mama had twins too. If you ever have the pleasure to see this you will know that the female hummingbird is an amazing mother. She works day and night to give them bugs, nectar and love. We named our baby hummers Paula and Simon and they have never left cause we maintain our flowers, water and feeder. It's totally worth it. A very touching and beautiful tribute! I never met Karen, but I have had the honor of meeting Leslie and her High Hills bandmates. If Karen was anything like Leslie, then she must have been a very special woman indeed, and I'm sorry I missed he chance to get to know her, too.
