Museum in Motion video from the Market Street Railway. Great shots of SF Streetcars from the 1930's, 1940's and 1950's.

  • Yeah muni is OK, but when buses and above ground rails stop at the beginning of each block, it's sometimes eaiser and faster to walk. Not to mention how crowed the lines are.

  • My favorite city............and I'm going back next week for five days!

  • @PloffTV Sing, Sing, Sing

  • what is the name of the second song?

A very nice and intresting Video about SF-streetcars!

  • @shortsf The concept has been around since the Trolley Festival days in the 80s. The required infrastructure for the E line was completed around 2004-05 and all that is needed now are the streetcars to be properly restored and brought up to ADA standards.

I've been hearing about possible E line service beginning as far back as 2005...still nothing lol.

  • E line, huh... this is new

  • Thanks for posting this! I really appreciate your time and effort in doing this.

  • San Francisco is an east coast city that just happens to be physically located on the west coast.

  • "To ensure the past will be present in the future"

Looking at the wealth of historical footage of SF alone on YT is proof if proof were needed that keeping our past alive is important to people.

    Well done San Francisco!!
