  • What were you feeding it at 1:34?

  • @drkingslend It's a Yellow Mealworm but is not recommended to feed it oftenly...one time every two months...Best Mealworms are recently moulted ones (white color ones).

  • can newts be put in fish aquariums / their vivariums be connected to aquariums ?

  • @hekma no. better don't do it.

  • Ive had my firebelly newt since 1993.. I was 12 when i got him. I cant believe its still alive. Its outlived every other pet Ive ever owned. Love the vid btw..

  • @EekZombies congratulations for your old & wise newts!! really awesome!!! Thanks for comment.

  • nice vid!

  • love the editing and music choice. this looks like an art project haha. also looks like a very good tank for fire belly newts. it seems no one knows how to properly care for them.

  • since 1993 is quite a nice age, still they have a long time to go :) have two of these myself. got them from my uncle back in 2000, they were 25 years old back then. So they're 36 nowadays. Anyways nice video, tank looks great !

  • @EekZombies WTF?! Did you say 1993? I bought Isabella 2004, and I'm expecting her to "go away" this year. Thought they lived 7 years maximum? I love Firebellies. They interact well. Often I catch them watching me when I'm doing stuff about the house lol!

  • @hekma Agree with uploader. Fish will get to food long before the passive and vibration confused newts will. Newts also prefer long tanks, as opposed to deep ones. Put them in a deep tank with fish, and you'll see the results...

  • very nice

  • Great video, great newts, great tank setup :D

  • como he dicho antes este video esta bien chingon
