Here is one final look at the tall ship model HMS Snake c.1797. It took me about 1,800 hours to build this 1/64th scale model. Not only is the outside of the ship highly detailed but the below decks has also been completed and electric lighting added for nighttime viewing. There are over 700 real riveted copper plates on the hull, and all sails, running and standing rigging have been meticulously detailed. Cast metal crew members and a half hull ships long boat add to the uniqueness of this museum grade tall ship model. Steve Priske - Historian - Shipwright. • Hi everyone, i am new to youtube, please do me a favour and can you suscribe to my videos and like them all, there is part 2 of the H.M.S Pickle coming soon.

  • I've been following all your videos on this ship, and I have to say I'm very impressed, all your attention to the detail, the copper plating, the lights, everything... I can't find one negative thing about anything... Keep doing what you do, in my opinion your the best.

  • I hope you sign it somewhere, because it's a Work of Art! Excellent Job!

  • have you ever done any models on the black pearl from pirates of the caribbean i love that ship but im getting a great accurate model

  • That is a phenomenal model, I could not even begin to approach yhat standard. Very well done

  • What a talent you have. Not meaning to be snobbish but can you actually make a living building these works of art? I'm trying my hand at building a planked 1941 Chris Craft to get a little experience with working with the wood. Any chance of another project sometime soon?

  • Wonderful job. The butterscotch color of the Nelson checker on Victory surprised me when I visited her.

  • THANKS FOR SHARING!!!!!!- Jeff

  • Superb!
