Kids who don't know times tables struggle with basic math in elementary school ... and beyond. Best Multiplication Songs Ever uses music to help kids learn their times tables.
How it works: We learn our ABCs by singing to the tune of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. It's powerful learning. People still sing this little tune as they alphabetize words years later.
Best Multiplication Songs Ever help kids learn times tables just as easily. Simple tunes. Simple lyrics. Kids can sing all the times tables in 8 minutes. Just like the alphabet, kids will know times tables forever.
It works like magic for grades 2 to 4; it's remedial for grades 5 & 6. The CD includes music-only performance tracks to make it easy to reinforce learning or even put on a performance.
Best Multiplication Songs Ever is produced by Corey Green, M.Ed., National Board Certified Teacher. Vocals by Jeff Wright, music by Mark 4Man. Recorded by Ryan Wenzel at Arrowhead Studio. Manufactured in the USA.

Schoolhouse Rock rocks! It entertains while introducing the concept of multiplication; however, songs are long & not really meant to be memorized.
Best Multiplication Songs EVER! are so easy to learn--they're based on classic, familiar tunes. Students who learn them all learn times tables all the way up to twelves. Yes, the times tables are technically addition because multiplication IS repeated addition.
Our experience with students is that these songs actually work.

Lame. Schoolhouse rock not only teaches all the multiplication tables, but with time-tested rockin' songs, and even some partial products thrown in there (8x 12 = 10x8+2x8),which is usually not introduced until 7th grade as the "distributive property".
Singing "6, 12, 18... Is addition.

@TaireSophia Based on my classroom experience, I know these songs work. Kids learn to add by counting on their fingers; my songs help them learn multiplication the same way. Kids sing the songs and count the facts. Singing helps them write the times tables on their worksheets. Because my students memorize these songs so quickly and easily, they don’t even need times table charts.

All this is, is skipping numbers..... how do you associate 6x3 with 18 if all you are doing is saying 6, 12, 18, 24, and so on?
