I guess it's not hard to see why the "less gifted" singers never get anywhere - Rosemary had class, beauty, an awsome voice and such amazing talent - that's what it takes ! thank you Rosemary and also all the other great and famous singers, many of who are no longer with us.
Absolutely perfect. She was and is an American Treasure. God Bless you, we love and miss your wonderful sense of humor and beautiful voice. Read GIRL SINGER one of the best bios written.
@Maskedman46 duwanna spoil it haha try used book sale; i did!! when i saw it, i was so excited!! haha it's a REALLY great book esp. since ur a huge Rosie fan (like me or more :D)

lawrence welk haha it could be! he did have the whole novelty music and pop thing goin'...i wouldn't REALLY know of course, i'm only twenty lol
i have a girl crush on Rosie, of course!!! :D who doesn't if they're a fan of hers???
No, I have not read her book, what did she say? It looks 50's to me because I lived it and I don't remember her much on TV in the 60's because I had a crush on her since White Christmas so watched Tv quite a bit back then and never saw her on shows like this...
The big show was Ed Sullivan Show back then...or Lawrence Welk...lol
Yes, I am older than the "Rock Of Ages"....and still love Rosemary!
@Maskedman46 RC is i think my favorite vocalist. i'm obsessed with her! love her <3
thanks for the reply, yes i'm curious what show this is too but i still think it's from the 60's!!! haha (just my opinion :))
oo and i love the beatles though!!! :] but i agree that the great singers did get pushed aside. have you read rosie's book? she dives into that topic a bit :]
This was 1950's on a TV show I'd like to find out because she never recorded this on a disc?
She recorded from 1948 and was most popular in the 1950's...1960 she recorded 1 song and 1 in 1961 and her last in 1968....she had 29 HITS in the 1950's but the 1960's brought in a new kind of music when the Beatles invaded this country with a new sound and the great Torch singers faded away because radio played/promoted English bands so the good music went down the drain along with Class.

What an incredible beautiful and sexy voice this woman had, I'm envious of the angels that are actually looking and listening to her.
