  • Thanks! This did the charm on mine. Key was doing a proper, long reset.

  • @fanex02 No problem. Nice to hear I'm not the only guy this annoyed the crap out of

  • hello there i have the wep password for a wifi network of a freind next door he said i can use his wifi could i use this router to pick up the signal of my neibours wifi and make my own access point ?? please reply

  • @matty01231 I don't know what you have, but a WAP54G can act as a wireless client and connect to a wireless AP. But then you'll need another router to use as an AP

  • @k3bab ok so this router will pick up my neibours router then could i use my spare belkin router to make an wireless acess point ??

  • @matty01231 yep

  • could you have picked a worse fucking song?

  • Lucky Star fan? That's awesome.

Your guide was cool. It helped a lot.

  • yup yup on the familial haranging...it's pretty constant with me! 4 out of 5 emails I get from my mom are for stuff simpler (and more maddening) than her password, so now I get the same from my li'l brother as well!

So anyway, thanks for the perfect video...haters, respect the info and usefulness of the vid, not the audio values!

And, BTW, fun music, and personalized bliss screen!

  • Thanks! This video was very helpful! The static IP did the job! Thanks again!

  • GREAT music choice, BTW!!!

  • Once I knew you could connect the WAP54G directly to the computer, I was able to easily see that it said "network cable unplugged" when the cable was NOT unpluged. A new cable, and the rest of the setup was uneventful. I even upgraded all the firmware in all the units with no problem at all. THANKS SO MUCH!

  • Dude! After wasting 6-8 hours going NUTS with 3 WAP54G's and 1 WRT54G that I could not get to work, your video helped me to determine I had a DEFECTIVE ETHERNET CABLE #@#$%@#^&@# !!!!! Until I saw your video, I thought you HAD to cable connect the WAP54G to the WRT54G to be able to configure it.

  • Thanks so much! It's close to quitting time and this is the last thing I needed to do. You're getting me home on time. Cute music by the way. unfortunately I had to turn it down.

  • Thank you so much bro!!!! You helped alot!!!!

  • Shitty music, dude.... but awesome guide. Solved my problem!
