can`t wait to febuary to finally try the series, going to main hazama with arakune as a secondary, he looks like a good version of twelve from sf3 hopefully i`ll be able to confidently main him someday.

I commend Hima. I have NO idea how to even PLAY Arakune. Or Rachel.

HUR DUR ARAKUNE LOOKES LIKE
but seriously watching hima gave me my inspiration to play arakune
2c rapid ftw

if anyone was wondering how this happened, Tager would've won if he was was his "soviet red" uniform

Arakune is only broken in the hands of inexperienced players who, rather than play offline to hone their control over arakune's moves, just mash buttons without knowing what's going to happen. Poor Tager, as an Arakune fan, I really do feel bad for him.

@yoshi45 your not the first one to think that :P

Arakune reminds me of Kaonashi from Ghibli's Spirited Away

@killatrooper he's not really hard to learn. I love playing Arakune and I know a few combos that I use to my advantage online. I probably can't say that for Continuum Shift but it's still ok nonethe less. If BB: CS had then same simple button manuever like Calamity Trigger. It would be better.
I've yet to play an Arakune online that can actually do a combo during curse. Which is why it pisses me off when they just float around the map shooting clouds and teleporting, and somehow end up winning. =\
I mean people say he's really hard to learn, but that's not really true. He's hard to "master", but as far as casual play goes, once you've learned his move set he's relatively noob-friendly. IMO atleast.

I'm an experienced Arakune mainer, so I think my opinion should have a bit weight, haha. :P I think you're right -- Arakune's basics are as easy to get down as anyone else's, it's the mastering and learning the tricks that requires hard practice, and that's where the steep learning curve steps in, not in the beginning. Online, I've seen Arakune players who can barely control the character, flying around without knowing where they're going themselves..

You're forgetting that he's one of the hardest characters to actually learn. Start respecting.
