Wet Takeoff by Aer Lingus Airbus A320

High Zoom Full HD footage of Aer Lingus A320-200 taxiing and taking off from runway 35 at Cork Airport, Ireland en route to Barcelona, Spain as flight EI868 (Callsign : "Shamrock Eight Six Eight").

This aircraft is registered as EI-DEB. It was delivered to Aer Lingus on 21/05/2004 and is leased from ILFC. It is powered by two CFM56-5B4/P engines.

The conditions at the time were a light wind from the North West at 310 degrees. The air temperature was 5 degrees centigrade.

As you can see in the footage the runway surface was wet at the time following a rain shower about 10 minutes before takeoff. Departure was at 16:49 local time.
