why is faith good? If atheism is a religion, then not collecting stamps is a hobby, and not smoking cigarettes is a habit. To disbelieve in something that there is no proof for or against is what we should naturally do.

Alot of the "crazy" laws and practices(ie multiple wives, slavery, animal sacrafices, not eating pork, etc.) in the bible don't apply to Christians. When Jesus died as a sacrafice he released "us" from the laws of the Old Testament However the New Testament in the book Romans does condemn homosexuality. Personally I am an agnostic and I have nothing against homosexuality. I just see that many people don't realize that the Hebrew law of the New Testament doesn't apply to Christians.

Homosexuality is NOT a choice. No God wrote the Bible, heterosexual man did.

The Bible is also alleged to say homosexuality is "against nature" and the Qur'an is even more explicit, saying, "such that no other creature before you" when more than 1500 species have been found to practice homosexual activity.

I agree, God YES, religion NO.

Of course genes are involved. Without genes, there can be no sexuality. Xq28 focused on one gene, when there is every reason to think many genes are involved and more than one chromosome (which contain thousands of genes). That study didn't look at the entire x-chromosome. Genetic studies show there are other factors that are not DNA and random, that turn on and off genetic instruction that may show up in different generations.
