Everyone,

Enjoy this quick story about the rescue of a wet and alone little kitten found stranded out in the rain for hours. It does have a happy ending. :-)

Lastly, please remember to spay and neuter your pets.

  • Such a nice thing you did to rescue that kitten. We also have cats and dogs here, all rescues ( including 2 Chinese cresteds, DO you go to the Chinese Crested Crush site?) How is the kitten doing today?

  • @DebbsHereNow Hi Deb, I haven't heard to CCC site. Sounds like fun. I'm going there next! hahaha

The kitty, 9 mths. now, had an operation as she was born without a hip socket. She has to learn to re-walk all over again. We have her on special, high protein food, to have her poop more solid,(as she falls in her litter box), have tons of carpet runners throughout the house so her feet can grab the floor better and my husband is making a cart to have her exercise better. We're trying! ;-)

  • @TheQneb Actually, I gave her one surgery and he walking became worse, even though we spent hours upon hours trying to help her. She lives with my friend now, and she gave her an additional surgery too, but it didn't help either. Anyway, Sammy lives with many cats now and enjoys all her new friends.

  • @GettingNailed You are amazing to spend your money to save the kittens life.. I bet the mother cat abandoned it because its non-functional knees? Is the kitty allright allready nowdays?

  • Did you ever feed her, or let her sleep?

  • My Crested that was "momma" to our 4 week old rescued kitten heard the mews...and was ready to help her nxt kitten. I had to show her the screen so she'd know there was no kitten here...then she laid back down.

  • you are amazing people! and the Chinese Crested Crush site is down for renovations but keep trying to get on! It is awesome with lots of nice people there

  • @Bozzieawesome Actually, her name is Samatha, like from the sitcom, Bewitched. But we like calling her Sammy. Best to you, your family...cat included! ;-D

  • @GettingNailed

wowoow that is great you found somebody with that price...still alot of money but hey you saved alot more...best of luck to you and your sammy, i hope all goes well with the surgery....i looooove that name sammy....sooooooo cute!!!hehe

  • @Bozzieawesome Awe! Congrats on YOUR kitty!!! I just took ours to the vet because of the way she was walking, (more like hopping!) Turns out she has to have surgery on both of her back legs...one at a time. Her knees don't bend correctly. If you look up kabbit on YT,, you'll see what I mean. Could be worse though. Usually, the vets charge $3,500 to $4,000 for the procedure I found a vet that will charge us $500 - $550.00. Hopefully, our Sammy will be able to run around soon!

  • such a sweet video, i got teary eyed...the kitten is so precious...i just brought home a cat myself..and she is just the sweetest thing...i don't know how somebody could just drop her off and leave her...now she sleeps with my daughter at night...i am sure she is the most comfortable she has been in years..she doesn't even want to leave the bed...hahahahha..thanks for sharing this video and best of luck to you!!!

  • OMG She ssooooooooooo cute!! Martini is so curious,, adorable!!

that's great that they get along so well , my dog doesn't like cats at all :P she start's to shiver and the cat's run away :P

    XoXo

  • @GettingNailed

she does really great actually. She acts just like a normal kitten would ! & you should definately do an update video !

  • @mrszlopez Awwwwe, thank for your kind words! So how is the kitty with no eyes surviving at home with you? Happy? :-D

Our little Sammy will always be smaller as she was the runt. She and Marteenie are getting along very well!

    ;-DD

  • I jus stumbled across this video & i think its awesome that you put the word out to spay/neuter animals. All of our animals (even most of our chickens & one of our goats) were rescued. about 2 yrs back we found a pregnant mama cat that was so emaciated & turns out that one of her 3 babies was born with no eyes.. we kept the litter of 3 & mama cat & all live happy healthy lives. Saving lives is always rewarding ! Hope your family is enjoying the new edition ! <3

  • @kludgette That would be so cute...to have YOU make a video of your two and then I'll add it to MY video. ;-DD Think about it! lol!!!

  • My crested has just "adopted" a teeny kitten I picked up in the middle of a highway! :)

  • @angelicdil Oh, that's what we did too! Soo adorable!!! ;-D

  • awww!=]

I have a cat too, I rescued him when he was a kitten!

I was only 12 and was walking home from school with my friend and we found this litter of three kittens. my cat was the smallest and weakest one, so I took him while my friend took the other two which were then adopted by other people. I nursed everyday with a little milk bottle filled with milk for kittens!

he was sooo cute! just like a baby and now he's two years old and fat!but he's still adorable!=]

  • @hunhun23 Oops, sorry about my mistake. I'm sure you know what I meant. :-) My little kitty is a spitfire too. Quite the little entertainer. She and my Chinese Crested get along very, very well. It's sooo funny that they were both the runts of their litters and are quite small for their breeds. Maybe our little kitten, Samantha, will grow to be bigger than Marteenie one day. lol

  • @GettingNailed It wasn't Naja that passed it was ECHO. She is the gray and white kitty that I had. I have Naja now and she is a bundle of energy and a little spitfire!

  • @hunhun23 I did go through your videos. You are such a God send to the animal world. I can tell you are devoted to your kitties and to animals in general. Such a good thing. Sorry to learn of your Naja dying but I am sure she had a wonderful life while on this earth 'cause she was with you. X O

  • @GettingNailed That is so nice of you to do that! If you look at some of my videos I have 4 cats and they are all rescues. Poki was found in a parking lot at the age of 3 months and she is now 6 years. Pumpkin was given to us by a neighbor. Carissa I got when she was 1 year old and she is now 10. Echo (now deceased) was given to me by a former manager. I had her for 10 years. Naja I adopted this past FEB after Echo passed.

  • @hunhun23 Hi Hun! Oh, yes, we did keep her. She is still really tiny as she was the runt of the litter, so we are told. You could see her again at the beginning of another one of my nail art videos regarding nail art contests. She IS really cute, I agree with you. Thank you.
