Citytrain IMU 162

This is the second of the new Interurban Multiple Units to visit Brisbane. Today, IMU162 was in town on a Ministerial Inspection held at Coomera Station, where morning tea was held for QR representatives and the media.

The Minister for Transport, Hon. Paul Lucas, inspected it on a trip to Ormeau and back, along with other dignitries. He can be seen at around 1:40 (very vaguely) waving to us. Thanks Mr Lucas!

On QR's IMU(160 Series), there is a toilet at one end of the train.

I was riding an IMU back from Robina once and the driver had to stop the train because the was a guy keep knocking on the door because the toilet's door was broken. The driver roused at him because he was now late. friggin hilarious

someone needs to get a vid of one of them blowing their full horns; I remember hearing it once - sounds good, a bit like an American Nathan M5 Horn

these and the perth trains are near identical, main difference is the door pods and picture frames. the IMU's have problems with toilet doors opening and shuitting randomly, toilet doors jumping off. good times :)

Our B Series... Are twice as quiet but the door shutting one is the same...
