The project TS2 (Transfer Station 2) was a collaborative installation art project by Slow Art Collective (SAC) in partnership with Moonee Valley Waste Transfer Station (MVTS) and the adjacent Incinerator Arts Complex (IAC) undertaken in Aug/Sept 2009. With in-kind support from TIC Group and Australian Composite Technologies, companies that recycle both hard plastics and e-waste collected from MVTS,
SAC used the existing paths of transportation to bring back the broken down components of the recycling process, to manipulate them into a collaborative contemporary art installation at the IAC.
TS2 project by SAC (Tony Adams, Chaco Kato, Ash Keating and Dylan Martorell) with Briony Barr and Gregory Crocetti
TS2 project time-lapse video documentation by Zoe Turner for SAC
