The Basic 100 words most frequently used in reading, writing and speaking English. These words make up half of the words spoken in English. So, if you learn these then you are half way to learning the language. Enjoy them. If you want to email me and see if there is some way I can help with your pronunciation then please feel free. I am English and live in London and Dorset. If you would like to write then i will also help you with any English work. Write to JackBarnett021@gmail.com Best wishes. Jack Barnett21
It was my intention to try to read some English so that people got some idea of pronunciation. I was wondering what to read. I have decided that I will read the 'chunks' of writing that one is allowed to write beside ones videos. (Like this one). So in the next three weeks I will select some of the 'chunks' and read those - to give a bigger sample of spoken words. Jack - ps I am interested in which people are using this from which country. Do please email. me or just comment. Thanks.

  • i wonder why he skipped "AS"...

  • @fbcisco33 I skipped AS because it wasn't one of the top one hundred words. But perhaps next time when I repeat the exercise I should call it 101 and include AS. Thank you for your comment. These are always helpful.

    Best wishes JackBarnett21 - Jack

  • E ??

  • Thank you so much! This is very helping(:

  • @car8gtr perhaps they learn these and then go on from there. It just seemed a good idea. If you learn the most basic words then at least you have a foundation to move forward with.

    Just an idea.
