holy SHIT, what a godawful performance as the rent boy! his enthusiastic tone while going over his list of withdrawal aids, like some sort of fucking salesman cheerfully pointing out a product to a prospective buyer, is totally out of character and against the entire feel of the scene. these guys should not have tried to tackle a work that is so obviously beyond their talents. not saying that they're bad actors, but they're definitely NOT the right actors to pull off trainspotting properly.
