Click Fraud is simply falsely clicking advertisement on your channel or on anyone's channel. Clicking your own ads that has been placed on your videos and your channel is the quickest way that you can loose your Google Adsense account. If you want to lose your YouTube Partnership and your Adsense account, that is exaclty how you do it.

Don't fool yourself into thinking that you can use different types of computers to do this for yourself. YouTube is pretty smart about figuring out and even if it's not from your IP Address, but from the general area you live in, YouTube will draw suspicion and they will not deal with it lightly.

RJared's advice is to never click your own ads, even if you are interested in them and want to potentially purchase something from that advertisement. At all costs, prevent accidental ad clicks as well.

Say for instance your on the other side of the spectrum and you just want to help your friend out by clicking their ads on their channel. As much as you want to help, you are doing more harm than good because all of your clicks that you have clicked for your friend, will register back to YouTube and they will void your IP Adress because it is being recongnized as pulling in false clicks. All the money that they would have gained from these clicks will be voided and your friend will not even recieve a penny of it. The best support you can give a friend who is partnered is not to give them false clicks, but to share their video with people you know (especially on social media sites).

Doing click fraud can hurt you in the future even if you aren't partnered because if one day you do decide to pursue YouTube Partnership, you have already given yourself a bad reputation. And even if you don't care either way, I don't know how far Google will actually go to stop your behavior considering that they are a very big company/corporation.

  • @rjared This is what happened to me man! One day I saw that I some how managed to get 50 dollars from YouTube! I was shocked and didn't know what happened.. Then a few days later AdSense told me my account was disabled for click fraud when I didn't even do anything.. When I tried appealing they declined... I didn't even do anything wrong. That's so messed up..
