Abortion and Father's Rights

In the case of rape it is extreemly traumatic for the mother. I would hate to see any abortion go through, but that is the only case that I could really think of it as being 'ok'

I believe a woman should have the right to choose and I believe it's a life from the moment of conception. I agree with a lot of your points and think its pretty awesome you put your perspective out there!

I am glad you know what you believe, and I doubt that the right to choose will ever be taken away, I just felt the need to share my thoughts.

(CONTD.) The Father can't 'transfer' the fetus (to my knowledge) to another womb if he wants to keep the child.

If he doesn't want to keep it then he should have kept it in his pants. (Roll on the male pill, research in on going on that)

I will say, if it was my child, I wouldn't want there to be an abortion, that pregnancy IS my child. But I still think that people should have a right to choose (within the legal limits) to terminate a pregnancy.

And while no the man cannot transfer the fetus, and most men wouldn't insist that they raise the child independent of the mother, they should have the option, since the mother has that option currently.

Lol, why do people think they're making a statement when they say "I hate abortion." I hate a lot of things, but you can't get rid of them.

Because it's her body and it's her decision what it will be used for. It's her body, not the government, not the fetus', and not the man who got her pregnant.

If men could get pregnant, I'd be for abortion rights for them too.

As it is, men will never be faced with the decision of whether or not to abort as they will never themselves be pregnant.

Let me say first, that I am against abortion. But, what I find so hypocritical is this....it is my right as a woman to do whatever I want with my body. It is unjust for the goverment to dictate my choices. So, since this is the case, why am I not allowed to sell my body, put drugs in my body or take my own life? And to all of you that " do not believe in abortion for yourself, but you would never make that choice for someone else". Is your baby somehow more alive than the women beside you?

I am against abortion for rape as well. Why does the baby suffer the death penalty for the sins of the father, or mother? I agree with you though, I am against abortion because it ends lives. I am pro life. All life has the same value, not just older and stronger ones.

Yes, I do think its killing a kid and yes I do think its bad. I would not sport an abortion for my wife/girl friend w/e, but people should chose. Abortion happens to be the lesser of two evils. Think of a better way to save the planet from our selves and your point will have more value with me.

What happens when all 10 billion people want food, water, computer, cars. Ya this fucking scares me, I think it should scare you too. I am not scared for me, why the hell should I care its not my generation right? I care about my species and the people after me. 1 person that liters is not really doing any thing bad. A person with 4 kids and those kids liter and they have 4 kids and so on is very bad and will fuck up the planet fast. Ever think about that?
