This old Allertor 125 starts up and the motor sounded terrible, then it had a real slow wind up, then would not spin around for the first 30 seconds, this is definately a tired siren....it won't be around very long! It's on Hundertmark road west of co. rd. 41 in Chaska, it only does the alert mode.

Since the rotator runs on the same motor as the chopper, could the rotator problems be contributing to the sluggish startup? Also, I heard noisy bearings at the beginning.
