  • Great review!

  • I've been using one for a while. No trouble with unfiltered water dripping down the outside of the hose. Prime it at home or on the trail and then each successive filtering takes about five minutes. Use the platypus connector and the flow stops automatically when the bladder's full. Best of all, you can take out the filter cartridge and have a shower. No plastic pump parts to break, no work.

  • That seems good for base camp. Id be careful any untreated water drips down that hose you could get sick. Seems good. I would stick with the mini works I have one seems to work good.
