This is where I take my Styrofoam for recycling. This is in the City of Roseville. They have been doing this for a few years now. I really like it a lot since this is probably the only place where you can take your Styrofoam to get recycled in the area.

They take Styrofoam packing, egg cartons, and Styrofoam wrap. Pretty much clean Styrofoam.

Ask any questions.

  • nice you filled it up! now film it being emptied! and where did you put down your camera - on the dumpster!?

  • @legodude24652 Yup, I always do! I really don't know when they empty it. And I live far from it too. Yeah, I put it on the dumpster.

  • That was great Kenny you filled that bin up too!i don't know if there is any place in arkansas that takes styrofoam there maybe? Its good you recycle cause thats some nasty stuff if you burn it and not good in a landfill cause it will be there forever...

  • @arkansastrash320 I do every time, lol. Not many cities or haulers want to deal with Styrofoam cuz hardly anyone buys it, or has a use for it. Also cuz it's so light weight it's pointless shipping it by truck only a few thousand pounds will fit in a 53 foot trailer. Here they densify it, and truck it to a local city who does recycle it. Yeah, Styrofoam does not decompose.

  • It's good to see someone doing something with Styrofoam other than landfilling it.

  • @GatorJake12 Thanks you! I don't have the heart to throw it away if it can be recycled, or anything else.

  • Which state is Roseville located?

I would go there if it's near South-Eastern Iowa.

It feels so great to recycle!

  • @staintedcards They don't have to cuz they are acceptable in the recycling can! or you can take them to grocery stores and they recycle them.

  • they should make the same for the plastic grocery bags

  • @TheTransitCamera Sure is! That's cool they have that! Too bad it's too far for you.

  • That's cool. I think there's a town near me that has a drop off for plastics like tubs and cups and maybe styrofoam. It's sort of far though so not really worth saving the tiny amount of non-bottle plastic we have to drive over there.

  • @KennysTrucks yeah

  • @lahluv Me too! That's why I save my styrofoam and bring it here.

  • @bdmcneilusmsl It sure is!

  • this is great!

  • i like this a lot. especially in places where trash goes to a landfill.
