I read the book. Subtle and profound concepts. I am struggling with one idea. Maybe I'm not understanding it correctly. This idea that nothing is "bad" I find difficult to grasp. When you see a child being abused, is that not bad? If you witness a child being abused by an adult should you just accept "what is" and "allow" it to happen without intervening? Does anyone have an opinion about this?

This book is awesome, its like the more gentle yet just as informative version of "the disappearance of the universe" Hope ur feeling better Tomas!!!!

Many very articulate comments, most of which do not understand the Course's (A Course in Miracles') explanation of the ego. Another useful book besides Take Me to Truth is Gary Renard's 'Disappearance of the Universe'.

Undoing ego is ego itself. We don't want to undo the ego, we want to master the ego. We don't want to be a slave to the ego and we don't want to be a slave to the mind. We want to master the mind and master the ego so that they serve us rather that being slaves to them. That is the true purpose. The mind and the ego are useful if they are working for us. Becoming the master requires being totally present in the moment and living a conscious life.

I am not about "worshiping" or anybody or anything. Life to me, is a miracle, and whatever explanation one comes up with for it's creation and/or purpose, it should be cherished, celebrated, and protected from people who just don't care. I am not a Christian but I have heard bible stories, and the idea that Jesus said "As I can do these things, so too can you" Sounds a litle like "self christs" doesn't it?

How do explain that almost all ancient people up to today, have creation myths, stories similar to Adam and Eve as original progenitors, a belief regarding a returning savior and so on, yet you seem to claim a monopoly on the truth. Didn't your mother teach you to share? In all your rhetoric you never give credit to all the goodness and beauty in this world. Your excessive focus on afterlife is a dis-service to all of us striving to do better right here. Do something for a stranger today

It seems se brings on guests with different views, wtih the intention of educating and empowering people to live better lives. It seems that you are all about judging people, callin them evil, and telling people that they are going to hell. I hope that you can find the errors of your ways, and cease your ridiculous, and hateful ranting. You can do better by respecting the positive things that people like Oprah are doing, and moving yourself from a place of darkness, into a place of light.
