  • Takashi Asahina is one of the best interpretator of 3 B in the whole world & also in histry( Beethoven, Brahms & Bruckner), especially Bruckner, he is no doubt the best, his performance of Beethoven's symphonies, N0.3 Eroica is the best, ( 2000 version, Osaka Phil.)

  • This isn't the NHK this is the New Japan Philharmonic, I have this set on DVD.

  • @Sikhidentity Try 1812 in you-tube, you can find Osaka Phil.performed this overture with Eiji Oue. Another site, please try video 1314, but may not have any performance by O.P.

  • @MrAlgykcho Okay. Also, I want to listen to some great classical music online. Any sites where I can simply stream? As it may be, I still really like Osaka Philharmonic! :)

  • @Sikhidentity NHK has released the whole version of Asahina's 2000 Beethoven cycle in DVD, you can find it from Amazon Japan or CD Japan( CD also available). I like Asahina;s Beethoven N0.5 with New Japan Phil. more than which with Osaka Phil.

  • @MrAlgykcho I would love to listen to that version! I enjoy the Osaka Philharmonic. Could you send me the link via message or reply?

  • Asahina appears to be enjoying the music immensely.

  • he's the best of the best!! the first time i listened to his play in the cd store, i was totally attracted just by hearing the little beginning. and then i cry out after a minute. it is just too good. very sad to miss the chance to listen in concert.
