Who Abandoned This Kitten in the Wilderness Above Marcola, Oregon?

An old couple was out driving logging roads, as they often do, and, near an area frequented by teen partiers and off road four wheelers and even hang gliders, they saw two white calico kittens by a mud hole created by off roaders. They called Eugene cat rescue groups hoping someone would go help them. A Springfield woman and her children rented a trap and went up. They got lost at first. The roads are confusing and rugged. They were able to trap one of the kittens, a starving sweet calico and found another dead. There may be a second calico in the woods still. What kind of a coward/monster dumps kittens so far out in the wilderness to die slowly?

I agree I am glad you were able to save the one kitten and very sad they were put there in the first place. And I hope karma gets to them. But I hate to see the sport of 4 wheeling being punished for this I am a 4 wheeler myself and 4 wheel up shotgun. My family and I love animals and would never harm any. In fact weve taken many abandond cats that have been dropped of in that area. I guess what I ask is dont put 4 wheeling to shame. We beleive in tread lightly. Am truley upset bout thesekittens

@customsport My brother is also a four wheeler and very responsible. I understand, that just like all cat owners would never do something like this, most four wheelers are nice folks too.

@busafwine Thank you. This cat was taken in by KATA of Sweet Home. They got her back up to speed, food wise, and found her a home finally.  the other abandoned kitten was killed by four wheelers, had died the night before we got up there, run down by them along the dirt roads. A Springfield woman up there helping found his body.

Hi! my friend. Yu`re an amazing and wonderful person.There would be more like you for to get a better world. What a miserable people can do that to the kittehs?.
