I had this surgery last May after years of fighting U.C. What relief !! The Ostomy bag took some getting used to . It was an interesting summer , If your having this surgery and have any questions , hit me up ! This surgery was the beginning of getting my life back . I'm going back for the " J - Pouch " surgery in a week .

the blockage could be a result of hard to digest food such as corn , popcorn, celery , coconut and other foods.

My daughter had the surgery and had an ileostomy bag and was doing great. Then her small intestine flipped causing a blockage. The blockage was fixed by surgery. 21 days later the same thing happened. Does anyone know why this keeps happening?
