In the summer of 2008, Lindsey Williams told those who would listen that crude was going to be $50 a barrel. In July when he made these claims crude oil was trading at over $140+ a barrel.

Now on January 22nd of 2009, Lindsey Williams is telling those who will listen that America will forgo paying our debts and talks about the financial war we are in with the Middle East.

ok, oil is at a 70 year low of $43 per barrel, then why are we paying the same price in australia when it was $150 per barrel. somebody is getting rich here. very rich....

for the week of 2/9/2009 the average price of gas in CA was $2.22

of that 65 cents were profit for the oil company

53 cents were Tax

crude cost on average 98 cents

and 5 cents went to the retailers who sold crude

if we take off the the 53 cents for tax it would be 1.69 + tax (53 cents per gallon)

both the oil companies and government together are taken over %50 profit for each gallon of gas.
