@unhinged17 Correct me if I'm wrong but I think they somewhat started Shoegaze...there was Chapterhouse of the same time but I think Ride are credited for it. Andy Bell who played bass for Oasis was in the band, they had some great records, Nowhere is an incredible album. I knew straight away they styles were similar, but didn't know that was a homage to them. Thank you for that nugget of info!

@kilts4u2 hell yes, loud and clear

@seifukusha you think really? I'm not so sure... I mean yeah, swirly guitars and stuff but its a lot more grungey than Ride in general, one the whole album as well

Ummm, there was a Shoegaze band called Ride in the early nineties, and this is the Dandy Warhols' tribute song to them. It sounds exactly like Ride - the wah'd/reverbed guitars, the octave divided harmonic vocals. Surprised no one got that...

I was sitting in a coffee shop on NW 21st, when some guy came in and asked who owned the BMW motorcycle out front. I said I did, and he told me that I had to be in his music video tomorrow. He told me where we were meeting, and I got the day off from work. That guy was Courtney, and Mia sat on the back of my bike in a bit of the clip.
