Lived on Kibbutz Magen in the Negev for almost a year in 1985, love it there anyone there at that time also ? A special Country

I thoroughly reccommend it, i spent a year out there many years back (Kibbutz Geva, in Afula) lovely, generous people, central to go travelling, good atmosphere in the work place, plenty of decent grub at meal times, activities, (Gym, Walk's, Libaray, free movies, haircuts, health and even boozer (Moderate though if you can)

When i was there i got 30 shekels a week, which is enough for deodrents, toothpaste and all that, so you dont have to spend into your own resources...con

You can google the information also there's kibbutz office in tel-aviv, it's a great way to spend 6 months or even a year it's safe you get to meet people from all over the world a Israel is a beautiful country,

Kibbutzim are a great way of life,great for kids, great for the elderly,great for volunteers,

To be able to spend 6-months/or a year,

Maybe more if ur good,to work in the sun

Meet people from all walks of life,is an amazing oportunity,!!!!!!!!!!!

damn it! I knew the kibbutzim weren't the same. I'm not gonna get stuck on some capitalist commune for five months. I want socialists, art, animals, bedouins, and farming! Why is there so much anonymous money for me to go to Israel?

kibbutz members are funny. 18 year old boys acting & speaking like fifty year olds. they are used to waking up in 4 in the morning, and adress their parents by their first names!!! god bless these great people...
