It crushes me that these are not televised. I grew up in percussion, was the 1st chick on snare at my school. Our instructor brought corps-style drumming with him and there is nothing like standing ovations everywhere you play. Kids need to see that there are activities, other choices. They need to see peers making those choices. Kids in middle/high school music need to see how awesome this is! Blood sweat n tears baby. National tragedy imo :(

Can't DCI gets sponsors to pay for air time?

Glad to see this here. It's really depressing that this is the -only- complete championship video online at no charge (and I still own the DVD's from the year). DCI needs to keep up. Hard for folks to get exposed to the activity if they have to pay to watch.
