"I Remember" from the new The Roots album "Undun". I cut the chorus because I think it doesn't fit the track.

You guys should all give him a break. Just because it's this particular song doesn't mean that it's a bad choice to edit, he can do whatever he wants. I've edited songs before but no one has bitched to me about it.

@geoffwoade I offer you my apology, you're right, I didn't read and reply as focused as I should have. I actually partially agree with you - there really isn't a big musical shift. I just.. somehow still don't think the chorus fits.
Again, I talked to a few friends of mine about this track and we all agreed that we thought the chorus was kind of unfitting. I like both the verses and the chorus on their own, I just don't think they match well (although they do so stylistically)

Undun surely will get a lot of spins and I'm sure I will get used to the "I Remember" chorus but for now I find it unfitting.

@blutspender i was unsure of the chorus at first too but i think it fits pretty well...what do you think about the chorus in The Otherside?? not so sure about that one.

@geoffwoade Well, you're entitled to your opinion and I'm entitled to mine. I'm happy you enjoy the chorus as it is, I personally don't. I find it ironic though that you call me "narrow-minded" for not agreeing with your opinion.
