  • now they moved to Vallejo and have rollercoasters, but i feel bad for the animals having to be trapped and listen to people screaming and loud sounds all day

  • this was where i had my first job. cleaning up the park / maintenance. was a great place and good fun working there. i believe that's carol titus working with the elephant - my neighbor who babysat me as a kid. she got married at the park riding the elephant.

  • I was a tour boat driver on the Tiger Raft Safari, Captain Jim. We steered the rafts, gave our spiel and occasionally ran aground and drifted into the ski show. Fun summer at $2 an hour minus Teemster dues.

  • Its sad to know that great things like these were closed and rich companies took their place

  • Wow Nice footage of the "old" Marine World. I liked this park better than the one in Vallejo. It was nicely landscaped and the attractions were situated on islands surrounded by waterways. It was really cool. And it had Tiger Mountain Rapids waterslides! I miss the old Marine World; it was about animals, not rollarcoasters. We had Great America for that.

  • My mother and father are in this video as waterskiers! Do you have more footage?

  • lovely rare footage

  • Very cool footage. It all looks so familiar despite the years passed by. Loved that place and visited often. Thanks for sharing!

  • I was there! I used to live across the freeway from there. Those were the days!
