This is the first occurrence of the term 'Would you believe". From here it became one of Maxwell Smart's funniest and most quoted remarks.

  • @mrpatty29 No, it's not. This is from '63. Get Smart aired in '65

  • @theez14 This predates the pilot, this show is from 1963. Get Smart began in 1965. The line was actually from Don Adams' comedy routine in the late 1950's.

  • This is from THE BILL DANA SHOW a series in which Don Adams played hotel detective Byron Glick and Bill Dana played Jose Jiminez, a bellhop. The show was a spin-off of one of Bill Dana's characters on the Steve Allen Show. Don Adams used elements of his own stand-up routine including "Would You Believe," and his other familiar catch phrases. The show also starred Jonathan Harris (Dr. Smith on Lost in Space) as the hotel manager.

  • That sounded like a live studio audience.

  • @yankfan65 yes it is

  • This is not from Get Smart. Still funny though.

  • This isn't the first occurrence of the the line...the first occurrence is on the pilot, where he speaks to Mr. Big.

  • @Paaliithoox99 no se que parte de la serie pero la programa originalmente es de los estados unidos...

  • Don was sexxy. They said he treated Playboy bunnies like CRAP

  • ¿De que parte de la serie es este video? o ¿De donde es este video?
