@sarakatefisher9 Apparently for this song, they actually asked her to sing differently from how she sang because she was too technical. I think they may have had her perform a nasally version so the song sounded more "raw", like a Christmas pageant usually feels. The girl still sings today, Olivia Olson, she does voice roles for Disney (Phineas & Ferb) and Cartoon Network (Adventure Time with Finn & Jake) with singing roles as well.

@sarakatefisher9 - They have stated in the commentary for the movie that she sang the song so perfectly in practice that they were afraid nobody would believe a 10 yr old was actually singing the song. They had to teach her to sing it imperfectly in order to make it more believable.
