Missouri State University Libraries consist of four facilities - three units on the Springfield campus and one in Mountain Grove.
These libraries are an invaluable resource to the entire campus community, existing to provide easy access to more than 2 million books and other printed materials and access to over 20,000 periodicals, newspapers and electronic resources.
The new Bear CLAW, or Center for Learning and Writing, is housed in Meyer Library to assist the campus community with writing assignments, peer tutoring and much more.
The library also houses collections of state and federal government documents and is the only United Nations document depository in the state.
Meyer Library also contains a number of unique and rare materials, including many special collections involving Ozarks culture, the University archives and a collection of rare books.
