@uselessbd . On the internet I've found a device which would accept an SD card/USB drive/ 3,5 mm jack. This device could be connected to my ford 5000RDS radio using a port normally used for external CD changers. The port is on the back of the radio, is block shaped and should be green. To be honest, i don't know if you have one 'cause you already have a changer. Google "bluebird interface" Ipod - and the first link lets you know more
@unit87 Hey, thanks for the comment, but I am not sure I understand. Do you have a link of what device you connected where? I don't know what the pins do, to make a connector, and I cannot locate something called "bluebird"... I need a bit more help, please.
Is there any way to get an input for this model? It is crazy. I have the 6006E and there is a pin array at the back but... nothing is in the manual... :( I heard it is a Visteon model).... How can one hook up an iPod for Bobs' sake?
kiss fm :) now we know you're from London :)

Good stuff, anyone know how to sort my CD player? It won't play any discs and comes up with an error code?!
Help!

@uselessbd I hope you can still see this message after 2 months you
posted this: I once hooked up a so-called bluebird MP3 device to
my Ford radio using the pin array which was connected to a cd changer.
You can attach a 3,5 mm audio jack to it but I think the manufacturer of
this bluebird device also supplies a dedicated I-pod interface.
The mp3 version works fine for me on my ford radio. Good Luck!
