http://www.MichaelHamburger.com - Michael & Leslie Hamburger live on the beach in South Florida every May. This is the 2nd Space Shuttle launch we have seen from the beach.
On May 13, 2009, NASA Space Shuttle Atlantis launched from the Kennedy Space Shuttle to make repairs on the Hubble Telescope. We watched the launch from the beach.

My family and I watched the same launch from alongside the B'line Expy at the Indian River bridge near Cocoa Beach. It was awsome. The last time I was there for a launch was in 1990 when they scrubbed the Hubble Space Telescope launch. How ironic that coincidentally, 19 years later that I'm there to watch a launch to repair the Hubble. I was so worried that they might scrub it since it was my last chance to see a shuttle launch. Thx for the view.

WOOHOO! Isn't it cool! You did a great job! I saw a night launch also, but this is better! Next year I'll have to time my visit to my brother's with your month so we can hang out! Hugs!
