Not a big David Cook fan but I am an Alice In Chains fan and I'm gonna say he did a really good job. Everyone who says he didn't needs to accept that just because he was an American Idol contestant, doesn't mean everything he does is shitty. He's very talented, not exactly on my spectrum of music, but he did a lot better than some.

hated it .... stop playing this song i cant even make it 5 mins. listening to him .... david cook is a joke of a singer ...i think layne is looking down wondering what the hell this douche seriously needs to stop trying to be me and singing my song... thats all i have to say about that

i started watching this thinking that this dude was a hack and would in NOWAY be able to pull this cover off...being the UBER AIC fan that I am, I am nonetheless pretty impressed...this dude can wail on the vocals. I think Layne would have been impressed.
