City Officials, community leaders and Washington socialites came together to celebrate the launch of the much anticipated Ready, Willing & Working organization last night at the Mansion on O Street. Over 100 people gathered at the swanky boutique hotel to witness the birth of an organization that ABC News 20/20 reporter John Stossel fully endorses. Guests including Council members Tommy Wells and Jack Evans, Harriet Karr McDonald, founder of New York City's Ready, Willing & Able program, Clarence Carter, director of the District's Department of Human Health Services, Kate Marie Grinold, Miss District of Columbia and other business leaders all heralded the RWW program as a must have in the Washington metropolitan region.
