The Arrows lead singer Alan Merrill and founding members of the band The Left Banke Tom Finn and George Cameron do an inpromtu unrehearsed acoustic set for the Japan tsunami relief effort for the Red Cross at The Bowery Electric, March 24th, 2011.
Sorry for the rough quality, this was recorded on my blackberry. They sounded amazing live in the club and put on a great show.
This was the first time the trio had ever sung together live on stage.
Event organized by Sean Yox.
The USA based Left Banke's hit singles were "Walk Away Renee" "Pretty Ballerina" and "Desiree", The Arrows UK hit singles were "Touch Too Much" "My Last Night With You" and "I Love Rock N Roll" later made famous in the USA by Joan Jett, Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus.

  • You know, this was a lot of fun, Alan did a great job and it raised money for Japanese Tsunami Victims, through the Red Cross.

  • To the people of Japan- from- アラン・メリル Alan Merrill

  • So cool to see this, even though it's rough from a phone camera!! Thanks for sharing this clip on you tube.

  • @djtomfinn A pleasure singing with you and George, Tom! Remarkable considering we had no sound check or rehearsal. Right off the street on to the stage! I love that dare and gamble! Moreover, we made some money for the Red Cross and the Japan relief effort, and that's the main thing!
