  • is there a name to this form?

  • Done excellently. This is a practical form....none of those "Flashy twirls and spins" with the Gen/Chai. If you see the real "Old school" traditional forms (Whether Butterfly Knives, Gens or 3 sectional staffs)....almost all just have fighting moves of the weapon.

  • This man always displays his form in a most excellent manner

I think its all about what you're looking for in a form. In my experience, forms aren't about what you will step by step do in a fight, they offer a sequence in which to practice basics. Basically, flashy doesn't always mean impractical/ everything has its place.

  • See this is a REAL weapon form. Useing practical simple moves to deal with the opponent, without flashy complicated moves more designed for "Oooh" and "Ahhh" demonstration.

    Thumbs up.

  • Cool!!!!!!!! :D

  • nice, very interesting i wouldn't mind learning the double gen
