And on the day that we are to remember; tragedy had struck once again. RIP; you served the country well. Espesially Hayden, whom I met on the 18th of March.

I never had the pleasure of knowing Hayden or Ben, but Dan Gregory was a good friend of mine.
We were on the same intake. Same platoon on basic and core training. Then posted to the same company at 2/1 RNZIR afterwards.
Served with Red for three years, kept in touch ever since.
I am so sorry that this happened. So very, very sorry.

brought tears to my eyes :( especially seeing the wreckage of the helicopter again :(
and even The picture of Ben at the end :( Ben. I wish things didn't have to end this way :( xxxx
