@randyjsing Yeah this is the eastern coyote. over time they have somehow mixed with wolves along their constant journey for food,despite wolves being their natural predator.they are larger and much more bold. it is this exact breed that killed a young girl while she was out hiking last year in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. This is not a red wolf!!! These have also taken hold on the island of Newfoundland since the first 3 arrived in 1985 or 86. kill 'em all!!!

Great video. However you misidentified this animal as a coyote. It is instead "canis lupus rufus". Better known as the red wolf. It is numerous throughout North America.
And its size is between the common coyote and the larger gray wolf.
