@ ArchaicSushi He's calling himself "Watashi" Which is just an extremely polite way of referring to yourself (male or female). A person only refers to themselves as "Ore"/"Boku" when they are with very close friends. The fact he's referring to himself that way, shows the distance he's creating between the girl, and himself. Not to mention the entire tone of the song is overly formal, polite, and apologetic, which means if he were to say "ore" in the song, it would just be plain weird. =.=
