  • Thanks for this!

  • just lovely! my husband just purchased me my first mandolin today for a my mothers day gift. i couldnt be more excited! i know how to play guitar but have always wanted to learn the mandolin and now i have my chance! your music is so inspirational and is what peaked my interest in learning! thank you so much!

  • great, and the guitar is played by someone who knows her way around it! thanks

  • Check out "Roland White's Approach to Bluegrass Mandolin" available at his website. It's the only book I keep going back to as I get better playing the mandolin. The arrangements focus on the melody (as does Roland) and it comes with CDs with slow and fast versions of each tune. If you are new to bluegrass and haven't heard of Roland White, check him out. He's one of the masters.

  • Wow I have just bought a mandolin and that is some cool insperation NICE

  • Nice to also see and hear Diane also!

  • I have always liked the clucky sound Roland puts in his songs. And fingerings he puts together are always the easiest to reach.

  • Amaizing!
